Divan Beds: How They Are Manufactured
Divan beds have two parts including a divan base and a mattress. The base is made out of a solid wooden frame with fabric all around it. The base often has storage drawers which are optional for the buyer. Then the base is matched with a mattress. The base and the mattress work together providing a comfortable sleep. Most Divan Beds come with wheels or chrome gliders, making them very easy to move.
The base of a Divan bed is a flat, rigid surface. The base is typically made out of wood, with wooden slats on side to side like a platform bed. These Divan Beds are very strong and they last about seven years.
The normal base beds can break from excessive weight or jumping. A divan bed base can bare more weight than a normal bed, therefore making it more durable.
In terms of Stones, the divan base can hold a total weight limit of 50 stone and an individual weight limit of 30-stone making this bed extremely heavy duty.
